Cut (2025)

Cut follows a specific narrative under a cultural lens. We follow 4 dancers move in unity, dressed in traditional Kazakh wear, navigating an uneasy path ahead of them. With soldier-like motions, these dancers discover blame, regret, and isolation. They begin to look inward, questioning the juxtaposition of their need to assimilate with the facets of their identity that contribute to their individuality.
